Student Support Services to Reduce Barriers to University Completion

President University’s Support in Housing, Transportation, and Legal Services

President University provides a range of institutional support services to help students meet essential needs and overcome practical barriers during their university studies. These services include student housing, transportation, and legal assistance, which contribute to a safe, accessible, and supportive environment that enables students to continue and complete their education.

Student Housing Support

President University provides structured residential accommodation through President University Student Housing (PUSH). PUSH is designed as a supportive living environment that combines accommodation with programmes supporting students’ academic, social, and personal development.

PUSH consists of several residential sites, including Student Boarding House (SBH) and New Beverly Hills (NBH). SBH provides shared rooms, while NBH provides both single and shared-room options. The residential environment is supported by security systems, health services, sports facilities, and other facilities required for students’ daily needs.

The university’s residential arrangements are also supported by institutional regulations concerning student accommodation. Through this structured housing system, students can access accommodation within the university environment, reducing the practical challenges associated with finding and maintaining suitable accommodation during their studies.

Student Transportation Support

President University provides shuttle bus transportation to support student mobility between relevant residential and university locations. The service facilitates students’ access to campus and helps reduce transportation barriers associated with attending lectures, academic activities, and other university programmes. By providing institutional transportation, President University supports students in maintaining regular access to campus activities without having to rely entirely on individual transportation arrangements.

Legal Services for Students

President University also provides access to legal services through the university’s Legal Bureau. The service provides students with access to institutional legal assistance when they require guidance or support concerning legal matters during their studies. The availability of legal services provides an additional support mechanism for students who may encounter legal or administrative issues that could otherwise become barriers to continuing their education.

Institutional Policy and Regulatory Basis

President University’s student support services are supported by formal institutional regulations.

Rector Regulation Number 13 Years 2026 Concerning Mandatory on-campus residence for first-year students at President University. The regulation establishes the requirement for all first-year President University students to reside at the university’s student residence (PUSH) for one year.

Rector Regulation Number 4 Year 2024 Environmental-Friendly Transportation Policy of President University The regulation establishes the university’s transportation policy and explicitly provides for scheduled university bus transportation between the campus and student residences, as well as shuttle bus routes supporting daily mobility.
